We do our fair share of web surfing - and we’re always on the lookout for more great content. I’ve recently come across this blog, run by a rockstart entrepreneur behind Netscape, among other ventures:

Be prepared for some great analysis about all kinds of business.

Big News!

Friday, May 18th, 2007

So we fell off the blogging bandwagon briefly, but we’re back. What have we been up to since our last update?

We moved. Again! Yes, we keep growing out of our old spaces as soon as we move. Our newest office is our favorite yet - right in the heart of Soho - and we plan on staying here for a while.

We’re meeting more and more people who are interested in what we do - online data backup is breaking out in the mainstream, which is great news for everyone involved. There is so much important data that in invaluable and currently unprotected.

In other news, there have been so many interesting developments in the technology field. Video content continues to be king, and is driving a large number of recent acquisitions. Microsoft’s newest purchase, for example, is a rather important one. Was the purchase nothing more than a consolation prize after being outbid by Google for DoubleClick? That remains to be seen. One thing is for sure: Avenue A/Razorfish does some incredible work.

Here’s a great video we found - we hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Consumer Electronics Show

Sunday, January 7th, 2007

It seems like everyone and their brother are heading out to this year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas this year. While we’d love to be there, we couldn’t make it this year. However, lots and lots of our friends did, so we want to give all of our readers a heads up on where to find the best coverage.

First, check out our good friends over at XYZ Computing and their excellent coverage of the event. Chief Editor Sal Cangeloso does an excellent job maintaining this electronics/hardware review blog. It’s always one of our first stops on the internet, and a must-read for anyone interested in all things hardware. Their coverage will be, as always, excellent.

In the Web 2.0 world, one of our favorite blogs is Gigaom. Unpretentious, and all about the facts, they write an excellent blog. Just reading their opening coverage of Slingbox’s new PC-to-TV box had us all excited about all the new materials we’ll be seeing at CES this year.

For less-than-live coverage, but a great overall view, we highly recommend checking out this January 6 article in the NY Times. While we never read the NY Times for live coverage, we love their analysis. And this article is very comprehensive.

Check these out, and enjoy. And we’re also eagerly awaiting the new-big-news from MacWorld coming up. Let’s hope for something big!
